Unise Newton Foot

Eunice newton foot was the first person to observe something that tyndall got the credit for. Claims that she was forgotten until raymond soren and published his 20 11 paper are not really accurate. A letter from deborah dean warner, who was then curator of the history of physical sciences at the smithsonian, to doctor judith wellman at state university of new york mentions both of foot's papers.
