The Importance of Winter Crops
Main crops have been greens so we do lots of kale and collards multiple plantings of those. Radicchio is one of our big crops there's definitely been a push in the pacific northwest for radicchio promotion and growing again as like a local alternative that can be grown and sold in the winter rather than bring in lettuce from California. We're really trying to find crops that make sense for us to grow and that we can mark it at fair prices that are you know they're not looking for top dollar on any one particular item but it's like a steady staple easy sale.
