The Origins of Homunculus
The concept that plants and herbs were essentially talismans of stellar energy is pretty cool. I think that that was probably once that was observed a step in the direction of other forms of talismanic magic getting more and more complex. You would be able to micro other large things including like a human body, the homunculus, the tiny man in a jar being that that's actually a type of talisman. So they were another one out there to add to the weave.
