How to Parent the Heart of Your Children
In his new book, "Parenting the heart of our kids," John Hagee talks about parenting behavior. He says it's important to look at what is going on in a child's heart rather than just how they behave. There are five questions that he tells parents to ask all the time: What were you thinking and feeling? Fourth question was why did you do it? Fifth question is what was the result? Harvest, the Bible would call that. The first time I asked those questions, it was with a situation with my four year old and my two year old. They gave me single word answers, but the answers were actually pretty profound in their implications.
