Democracy Is the Political Equivalent of the Scientific Revolution, Liberal Liberal Democracys
A liberal democracy is an error correcting system. It doesn't automatically create good, it weeds out the bad. When people worry to day about a rise in demagogery, for exampleor you're reasonably confident theyre that the system will kick into gear. The political tradition is judged by whether it can remove bad policies and bad leaders peacefully. That's the thing. If it's not done peacefully, then knowledge isdestroyed.
