How to Create a Cluster Index in MongoDB
MongoDB has a new feature called cluster collections. It allows you to create clusters of records that can be stored in the same place and at different times. The key value is very critical, because it supports up to eight megabytes in size. A large index key causes the cluster to increase in size in the secondary indexes as well. This reduces performance and storage benefits of the cluster collection.
