The Apostles and New Testament Authors Use Spiritual Fatherhood Metaphors
When you look at the new testament writings, you find multiple instances where the apostles and new testament authors are assuming a role of spiritual fatherhood with respect to other people. And so obviously what jesus was saying was hyperbole, becausei it wasn't an exaggeration to make a point. If some one has a role as a father, god doesn't mind if you call him that. We just need to avoid confusing limited forms of human fatherhood with unique fatherhood that god has. K, what about a sodom? Lind?
