Imogen Loxley inclines her head graciously. It is a pleasure and an honor to meet you tonight. Phineas swallows all the things that he was planning to say, the gears in his mind stalling. He suddenly finds himself standing in a circle of conversation that he's not technically included in. People speak over him, don't make eye contact with him any longer. But he stands there holding his drink, nodding as though he's still listening. Oh, this is awkward. The gears in his head slam back into action. What do you say to the spouse of Mrs. Loxley?
