The Different Types of Nephrons
The alpha and beta interrelated cells help us regulate blood pH. They will reabsorb back into the blood by carbonate and potassium, which means it helps us become a bit more basic. And at the same time, it will secrete into our urine hydroiones. In the beta cells, there isn't the sodium-potassium pump anymore. So this is the one area where there's no pump. And it's also the one areawhere we actually reabsorb hydrogen ions. The ATPase pump pumps out hydrogen ions from the blood into the cell then that can be reabsorbed back into the body.
