How to Tell if You Have Hormonal Acne
The little pimple that pops up around the time of your period, that's acne. Hormonal acne is a term we use to describe breakouts in adult women. You have a hormone called testosterone and then and in women DHT or dihydrotestosterone. Both testosterone and DHT bind to the oil glands to drive oil production and inflammation.
