Technology can be a good thing, right? But it isn't necessarily a good thing. There was a time when there was no multi track recording. By the time i was a kid in the sixties, with the les and pink floyd and all that, you had total control over ever. You could never have songs with that kind of layer of stuff going on without multi tracking. And then also in the seventies, you've got emmy lew harris, a willye nelson singing one paper kid,. It is as if they're sitting in your living room or on your porch, and you've got a microphone on it, and it's a wonderful performance. Absolutely
