I worry that people think they can't go on a journey to sort of understand their minds until they get these drugs because the drugs aren't for everybody. I don't think I would bother with the medication if my life wasn't as hectic as it was you know and sometimes I think the drugs just kind of make me wash the dishes you know and not pile up in the sink. You could have therapy alongside trying to acquire a diagnosis from a different person. What is the best thing a friend can do who isn't qualified? Not join in with them when they're being negative about themselves or self-deprecating. If someone's being hilarious and funny, laugh but don't join
