The Mets' Trade for a Reliever Is a Cautionary Tale

The Mets are a cautionary tale of how quickly things can kind of unravel right when you look at where they're at. They need more young hitters that are close to the big leagues and that's really hard to get in the trade market. Jerry DePoto is gonna buy and sell at the same time so I could see him maybe matching up almost with Cincinnati in a reverse situation if he gives them some sort of Marte back. The Mariners project somewhat similarly to the Astros and Rangers going forward as sort of like 35 and 30 teams. In the AL, Cleveland probably will go for it because Minnesota only has 50 wins and is winning that division.
