Gladbach: We've seen a mortality related to natural disasters drop, i think, a hundredfold in the twentieth century. But places that still experience a lot of of damage m to human lives are countries that are just underdeveloped. He says energy is required to get you to a place where you have some resiliency. Gladbach: To invest in roads, to make countries more resilient, you're going to have to use vassel fuels.
