The Case of a Girl in the GPO in Dublin, Ireland

A young woman was found shivering in front of a Dublin post office on October 10th. The passerby asked the girl if she needed help, but she wouldn't even acknowledge his presence. After trying unsuccessfully to communicate with the girl, police transported her to a local hospital for further evaluation. Days passed without the girl saying a word; once she finally spoke, it was in short fragments and barely comprehensible. Her English was so bad that she couldn't even tell authorities her name.
