We're Going to Be Saved, but Only Through Jesus Christ
In second naphi six, we see lehi's family fractured. He's died and the family's divided. And really that's such a great metaphor for understanding the scattering and the gathering,. That only through jesus christ can the family be brought back together and redeemed. So in second nephi nine, which is the other side of the isaiah chapters he's using to be able to see, we've got to get a big picture of the plan and all that the mortal experience is about. The righteous need not fear; they shall be saved, even if it so be as by fire. This establishment nephi is giving us that we're going to be in this battle
