I recently came out as nom binary to my close friends and partner, and am in the early stages of my transition. My partner identifies as a lesbian and has had dramatic experiences dating men in the past. For that reason, it makes her extremely uncomfortable that we might be read as a straight couple. I e, i might be seen as a trans slash sis man when we're out together. And have been nervous about exploring more mask aspects of my identity because of that. How should i balance my partner's comfort with my own transition?
