Why HBO Is Changing the Idol's Story
After she finished 80% of the series, HBO ended up scrapping the entire project. Reports have noted that apparently the weekend felt the show was heading too much into a quote female perspective. There were sex scenes that were written in the new script by Sam Levinson that weren't ever filmed, but they were leaked through this Rolling Stone article.
