Is There a Difference Between Chinese and Chinese Culture?

I was probably culturally really insensitive a lot of times, but I certainly learned fast. So was language barrier in terms of being able to engage with locals or local amateur athletes or elite athletes? It was super interesting though because sometimes language unlocked something and the translation or a, or a way of saying something like these things were insights to me. Plus, if you could even with an example if possible, like the difference between sports culture in China and Shanghai, and in other parts of the world is there a difference?"
