Both e the automobile and the aerplane, were supposed to be inventions that shortened distances for people. And i get the same sense of wonder on an airplane as you describe. I the o my god, i can't believe i'm in the air thing. But it seems to me that what you're saying is kind of a whall. You've got no possibility of losing ego in that situation,. It's just a different thing.
