The Differences Between Breastfeeding and Masking
The infant face is really designed for breastfeeding. That is different than our needs when we're mask ventilating or innovating. The mandible is slightly recto-nathic and the mid-face is a little bit hypoplastic. Our need to move the tongue away from the retroferring as well as the palate important.
