Women's Climbing Club - The First Ascent
In 19 o eight, as a sort of protest to not being allowed in the men's climbing club, this group of women set up the scottish women's climbing club. And they actually did the first ascents of ben nevis, the second, all female team. I've got some women coming with me who are a kind of really good climbers, t they dn kind of show me how to do it for year again. i'll be in there's coe quite famous photos of these women in their petticoats, with their ropes and their ice picks,.
