The Hyper Real and Death in Symbolic Exchanges

The hyper real forecloses upon us actually experiencing the real, and actually some very real way. Nothing you do without that broad band connection registers within that symbolic circulation. I think there are some very real or actual ways in which the notion of death is staved off in the hyper real order. So for example, like if your broadband goes out, you can't access anything on line. In effect, you are symbolically dead without that. But when you come back on line, you can talk about that experience and so forth, and now you're back in the mix.
