The Benefits of Reverse Dieting

The second claim is that it boosts your metabolism. When you go back on the diet, you're eating more food to lose the same amount of weight. That does not happen. And reverse dieting may also give you this kind of false sense of security when you think that it's actually increasing your metabolism. It causes you to overeat maybe or to binge eat once the phase is over. There's all sorts of side effects that we're not considering here that we should.
