Is That a Fair Assessment?
Reality TV isn't giving you anything particularly actionable or useful in life. But infotainment is dragging the info towards entertainment, which makes it more digestible and candidly accessible to an audience that can't get into the sixth page of the textbook. That was inspired by my own experience, because I also spent a year taking improv comedy classes. The first thing they told me was, you don't know how to talk to normal people. And so what I found out is that if you come in with all of that math, all of that science, and add in the skill sets that professional entertainers use, well, then you can actually bring people in.
