The real catalyst was the global financial crisis in 2007 2008 there where basically that didn't matter whether you owned luxury cars property stocks bond shares they all were fairly much adversely affected. The dream for a lot of investors be it professional investors managing money or people who are investing money is to find an uncorrelated asset class one which is immune to every other asset class. That was what drew me to sport because during that financial crisis all the major sporting events kept being played and I could spend 16 hours a day doing it, he says.
