The Birmingham Campaign for Civil Rights

In 1963, 16-year-old Janice Wesley Kelsey decides to join the civil rights movement in Birmingham. She and her friends face injustices every day that they can't get out of their heads about. Martin Luther King gets out of jail on April 20th with momentum building for this youth movement. On May 2nd, the next wave of protests will begin - it'll come to be called the Children's Crusade.
