The Irony of Slavery

A lot of times I love people in the left get mad at me and like, why are you defending slavery? Why are you singing the praises of slavery? And I said my point is slavery is a stupid system. Like if people could understand how dumb it was, they wouldn't want to implement it or they wouldn't support it. All right? To me, it's not a coincidence that the industrialized North relying on free labor had a Navy that could blockade the South and send in their armies to come and raise the Southerners.
