A post-back is basically a year of additional training and getting ready to go to graduate school. It's more common for people who are going into medical doctorates. The one I did was at the National Institutes of Health, so it specifically took, again, people just finished with their bachelor's. And then during that time, you apply to either a PhD program or an MD program.
