The FDA is focused on safety and reliability, but does it check for cyber? The patch act only applies to devices that are proposed to be developed going forward. So they're all grandparented in. But yeah, that is something to consider. I think people don't really think about the upgrades and how they're going to be maintained because the security updates are coming in the upgrades.
