By the time he clinched the nomination in 20 16, he had received a smaller minority of the vote than any republican nominee in the history of the primary era. So trump, that was key for him. Do you think there would be any benefit to the republican party adopting the democratic party structure of super delegates? And would a super delegate dynamic have prevented a trump nomination? That is a great question, um, and the reason why i brought up both of the parties had the system that they wanted a and ended up with bad candidates.
