The Importance of Being Real

Many of us feel this sense and this pressure to compare all the time. And what we see here is Moses who is crushed. He's humbled. He's bought before an audience of wine. God says, do not come any closer. Take off your sandals for the place you are standing as holy ground. Just think of that action taking off his shoes. There is no performance in the wilderness. If you want to move away from the stage, the wilderness is often the place that God does it.
