The Future of Aluminium Smelters
Aluminium smelters are potentially capable of shutting something like 10% of their capacity for a couple of hours every day with only a little bit of moderate capital expenditure. But I don't know then myself that it's the way forward. We should be able to manage a system where people can consume as much electricity as they want to. That's the ideal system. It would be better if we were selling the aluminium, for instance, and they were getting all the electricity that they wanted.
