The Psychotic's Relationship to Lack

The original lack that gives us perversion and beyond it neurosis comes from a prohibition that introduces the subject into language. That prohibition does not function in the case of the psychotic. Because they haven't passed through the defiles of the signifier and undergone castration, they do not experience a cut. They don't have a relationship to lack. And you might even look at a psychotic and be like, bro, and that is exactly what they struggle with.
