In those days, decades before photo shop, the trasher, publications would typically use photo collage techniques. One newspaper ran two panels of such images about sammy to inspire fear that a vote for kennedy was a vote for issegination. In one image, sammy was seen serving fried chicken and watermelon to kennedy. In the other, the two were actually eating together alongside the caption, will it still be the white house?
