Do You Think the Federal Reserve Is Hedging?

The Federal Reserve imposes losses on that financial system was it raises rates. But in the case of first republic, so I think part of the reason why they don't have interest rate hedges is that they don't has a very big securities portfolio. And if you hold something for maturity, you don't really have a need to hedge it. It's because they're committed to holding those mortgages until they mature.
