How to Invest in a Recession
Jeffrey Sachs: Recessions have proven to be a great time to invest in respect of the asset class and what your strategy happens to be. It's particularly good for us because as you know Jeff our strategy is to buy second third and fourth quartile performing companies. He says that right now with the economy getting worse interest rates continue to go up, which makes it more tractively priced than 18 months ago. The sellers are motivated to get something done even though it's not a good time to sell their business he says.
