Introduction
Temperatures have been climbing as high as 40 and even consistently in some places, hitting 44 degrees Celsius. These are temperatures that can cause real problems. It's the weather equivalent of a pizza often - you've got a lid of high pressure air over the continent, pushing down the air below it. And that's what we're seeing over southern Europe right now, south-earth to the US and in parts of China.
