The Uni Party and the Wealth Extraction

Eric Liu: I talk a lot about what I call the wealth extraction process by which the government benefits the elites through these different policies. You know, we've just gone through 24 months of real wages going down for everyone in the country. We're wearing really tough economic times for the middle class, but not for the elites because they have in essence purchased our government. And it's really important for people to understand that Washington, you know, is a lot of fake theater.
