The base game seems really immediate, really smart and changeable. It felt like you had a bunch of interesting kind of rule wrinkles that were already two, three turns in sort of bouncing off each other. And the way that kind of like it brings in characters that are very much based around that forward thinking. So for example one of the characters a Toxoid is like a big dirty wasp that when it attacks you. When it attacks you it covers you in this poisonous gunk buzzing. Absolutely buzzing. He's loving it. But if you've got the toxic gunk on you next turn you're going to die. You have to wait a turn for that character to come in
