The Shipwrecked Rhino

Manuel I was a right thinking 16th century king. He decided he's going to give that rhino to who else, Pope Leo the 10th. In some accounts the rhino is actually stuffed and lives a happy life in the Vatican as a stuff rhino. But modern historians are skeptical just because what we know about 16th century taxidermy makes it extremely unlikely that any actual good preservation of a shipwrecked rhino could have happened.
