In 2 Samuel 9, 9 we hear that when a person wants to know Yahweh's will, well let me read it. In the first couple verses of chapter 23, he went to a prophet and he said, Gadd? Probably Gadd because he's called David's seer later. When a prophet would speak for Yahweh, it's very common that they would use the first person. This formula may be applied in the same way to the delivering patterns of the divine or angelic messengers. The Eurymantheumim answers whether blinking lights or stones in a pouch were just not sure.
