In the conservative evangelical circles that I grew up in that word experience Is viewed with immense? Suspicious and frankly contempt hostility Hostility. Any thought of listening to my experiences was seen as a crisis that had to be averted. It's not just you know where I work, Your your intuition your experiences. Well, you're sinful So Those just get in the way If there's any experience you have that causes you to question pure doctrine That is a sinful thought that you have. You need to hold that at bay and the way to do that Is to adhere To the system of doctrine that you're given.
