The Importance of Individual Differences in Implicit Cognition

Sally Kohn: My dissertation at Yale a little bit a couple years after yours was looking at the question, are there such a thing as individual differences and implicit cognition. And I found that virtually all of them, it was almost impossible to capture reliable individual differences that like cohered over time. She says she is most wary about with the IT because it may be capturing societal norms but not so much an intrinsic stable individual differences variable. But anyway, before we completely lose my audience, which is a general audience, I just want to say that I'm trying to link these two issues together.
