The Life and Times of the Bay Village Shepherds
Sam and Marilyn Shepherd lived in Bay Village, Ohio. Sam worked at a local hospital while Marilyn stayed home to raise their two children. The shepherds became friends with influential neighbors like Mayor Spencer Hauck. Susan Hayes was an attractive medical technician who frequently got rides from Sam. She had an affair with Sam on and off between 1951 and 1953.
