The Human Value of Traditional Culture

I think analytically, what I've gleaned from my encounter with the late Marx on one level is something that the French articulation school of the 1970s brought to the surface briefly. Again, what does it mean for capitalism to encounter the rest of the world? I like to say that there was a collision between capitalism and the other cultures in the world. Even to this day, even in Russia or China...there are articulations between the profit motive, capital accumulation dynamics, and all of the cultural specificities that these different cultures offer. Thank you very much. Great ideas discussed here.
