Matthews was about at the top from the leaf sand of expected goals and had lots of chances. And I know that they're still working on a treatment plan and I don't think surgery is totally off the table for him. But there's other reasons why he didn't score. It's probably that he's not at 100% Maybe a shot wasn't as dynamic as it would like to be maybe he wasn't moving in a way to be able to all the above. So like the number doesn't tell you everything you can't just be like he's unlucky. There are plenty of games periods. Several games stretches throughout these playoffs were guys like Matthews and Marner and Neelander
