Ilyse Hogue: How did you get into studying infrastructure and inequality? She says it was an additional line of inquiry from what she had been doing with her PhD. "What I learned in my life was that I had a lot of innovation, innovation out to the market," said Hogue. 'And so I started thinking maybe I can take those ideas and transport them in more engineering settings'
