The final season of Freeform's Grown-ish will be stretched out in 2024. Showtime has dropped Mandy Potankin Comedy seasoned and plans for a Gatica TV sequel that would have brought Homeland creators Alex Gownsa and Howard Gordon back to the network. The news comes as Gatica was the very first piece of development that was bought by Chris McCarthy, the executive at Paramount Global, since he added oversight of Showtime late last year. Instead, McCarthy plans to focus Showtime in three key lanes, anti-heroes, powerful worlds, and diverse cultures.
