Most of our planet is water, and we're just not seeing it coming in. There's a project in australia where they have people setting up digital cameras all over the country pointing at the sky to catch meteorites. They've actually taught drones that can recognize meteorites and collect them for researchers. So if we blend all these ideas together, how much of a threat are we from some kind of nearth asteroidin inner lifetimes? We're safe right now. But are we?
